What Is Its Purpose?

Ive tried this app several times and Im still wondering what its purpose is. The instructions need to do a much better job of explaining what the purpose is, and how to make use of it. Is it a "music" generator? Is the purpose to create designs? Is there a way to repeat or store and replay the "music" sounds created? If I understood it, I might give it a higher rating. Perhaps Ive got a mental block because I was expecting it to be a "music" generator like the Bloom app with which Im familiar.
